Registration information

Congress registration is now open! The deadline for early bird registrations is 15 April 2024.

NCGP2024 will be a partly hybrid event, the scientific programme of the main lecture hall will be available online.

Onsite registration fees include:
Access in the scientific programme and exhibition at the congress venue, congress materials, coffee and lunch on the congress days as marked in the programme, and Welcome Reception on Tuesday, 11 June (limited number of tickets available). Tickets to evening programme on Thursday, 13 June are sold separately. The onsite fee includes also full access to the virtual congress platform and its materials.

Online registration fee includes:
Access to the virtual congress platform where you can follow the scientific programme of the main lecture hall as a live stream (platform also available for onsite participants), or to view main lecture hall talk recordings which are available for 2 weeks after the congress (if consent given by the speaker). Congress abstracts will also be available online.

Please note that online participation is not accepted as a two-day scientific congress required for specialty training (applies to Finnish doctors’ specialty training).

The registration fees are not subject to VAT. Except for separate social programme tickets where VAT 24% is applied.

* Young doctor fee applies to doctors in specialty training (until the completion date)
* Young doctor, pre-congress participant fee applies to doctors who are also participating in the NYGP pre-congress
* Student fee applies to undergraduate students (not applicable to PhD students)
** Online participation is not accepted as a two-day scientific congress required for specialty training (applies to Finnish doctors’ specialty training)

All registrations via the online registration form. Unfortunately, group registration is not possible.

Participants are also invited to submit abstracts. See here for more information. Abstract submission deadline is 15 January 2024.

All presentations will be presented onsite at the congress venue in Turku, Finland. The main lecture hall presentations will be live streamed and thus available for online participants to follow.

Certificates (onsite participants)

NCGP2024 Congress participation certificate is accepted for specialisation where the attendance at a two-day scientific congress is required. Please note that only onsite participants are entitled to the certificate required for specialisation.

Note! Participants have been sent a thank you message with a certificate of participation attached. The message was sent on 19 June to the email address used for congress registration.

Methods of payment

1) Credit card payment
On the registration form, choose the credit card payment and fill in the payment card details. Payment service provider Paytrail Plc*

2) Online bank payment (for Finnish/Nordic banks only)
On the registration form, choose your bank, and you will be forwarded to the payment service. Payment service provider Paytrail Plc*

3) PDF invoice (payment with bank transfer). An invoicing fee of 10 EUR will be added.
A PDF invoice will be sent to your e-mail address after you have submitted your registration. In case you are not paying the invoice yourself, please forward it to the right person.

4) E-invoice (for Finnish organisations only). An invoicing fee of 10 EUR will be added.
An e-invoice will be sent to the e-invoicing address provided.

Invoices: please make sure to give a correct invoicing address. An extra invoicing charge of 10 EUR will be added in case a new invoice is processed (revised PDF or e-invoice due to a wrong address, or otherwise modified).

The registration fees are invoiced by Certia Oy, Aboa Events (VAT FI23274223) on behalf of the local organiser University of Turku (VAT FI02458963).

*Paytrail Plc (VAT FI21228397) acts as a collecting payment service provider in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Plc is authorized payment institution. Paytrail Plc appears as the payee on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the event organizer. In case of reclamations, please contact the event organiser.

All payments must be made in euros (EUR).

Cancellation policy & insurance

Cancellation of registration must be made in writing (email) to before 22 April 2024. No fees will be refunded after this date.  A processing fee of EUR 50 will be deducted from all refunds.

In the event that the meeting is cancelled by the Meeting Organisers, or cannot take place for any reason outside the control of the Meeting Organisers, the registration fee shall be refunded in full. The liability of the Meeting Organiser shall be limited to that refund.

Please note that the meeting participants are not covered by any insurance (travel, medical, accident or liability) taken by the Meeting Organisers. The Meeting Organisers cannot accept liability for any loss or damage suffered by any participant or accompanying person or another person during travel to and from the meeting or during the meeting. Participants are advised to consider purchasing their own travel insurance and to extend their personal policy to cover personal possessions.

Change of the participant

At any time after registration, in case you will be unable to attend for any reason, you will have the opportunity to send a colleague in your place at no additional cost. In such case, please contact Aboa Events at as soon as possible.

Invitation letters

If you need an invitation letter for visa application, it is prerequisite that you contact Aboa Events at before you make the registration and payment. Please indicate which conference you wish to attend, include your affiliation (organization, organization’s address, country) and the title of your accepted paper if you have one.
