Newsletter No. 4, November 2023

Dear colleagues,

Winter might be coming, but our thoughts are more and more on next June. Our organising committee has been working hard to make you a congress to remember! We are delighted to share that updated details about the social programme are now available on the website. We invite you to enjoy lovely summer city Turku, meet old friends and make new ones!

High quality scientific programme

However, NCGP2024 is about much more than just having fun. High quality scientific programme is our priority, and we provide you with plenty of inspiring symposia, workshops, and presentations to learn from.

We recently asked the head of the scientific committee, professor Päivi Korhonen, her thoughts about the scientific programme, and this is what Päivi told us:

“The high scientific quality of the NCGP has been well appreciated for years, and our goal in Turku could be nothing less. We already have excellent Keynote speakers who will focus their presentations on the Nordic Core Values and Principles of General Practice. These values are very much needed nowadays; GPs can treasure humanity by their knowledge and skills in this rapidly changing world of ours. We are also waiting for excellent symposia and workshops, and researchers will present their newest results in the abstract sessions. I am convinced that the scientific programme in NCGP2024 will offer thrilling experiences for every GP.”

It sounds like something to wait for, right? In addition, do not hesitate to share your own insights and expertise. Call for abstracts, symposiums, and workshops are still open.
